Dear Hardy Oak Families, Students and Staff,
It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Hardy Oak Elementary School. I am truly looking forward to getting to know the students, staff and families who make this community so special.
As a proud NEISD graduate, it is an incredible privilege to serve in the District that helped shape who I am. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Todd, for 24 years, and we are the proud parents of two boys. Our oldest son, Colton, graduated from Johnson High School in 2020, and our youngest son, Hunter, will be a senior at Johnson this fall. Being both a parent and an educator in NEISD has deepened my appreciation for the powerful role schools play in supporting students through every stage of their journey.
Over the past 13 years, I’ve had the joy of serving students and families as both a classroom teacher and campus leader. I taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 4th grade at Huebner Elementary School and most recently served as Assistant Principal at Northwood Elementary School. These experiences have shaped my deep belief in student-centered learning, high expectations for all, and the importance of a strong, supportive school culture. Every child deserves a safe, joyful and rigorous educational experience that inspires curiosity, fosters character and prepares them for the future. I am equally committed to building strong relationships with staff and supporting the incredible educators who make that experience possible.
I believe strong relationships are at the heart of a successful school, and I look forward to getting to know our Hornet students, staff and families. I am eager to listen, learn and lead alongside you to build on the proud legacy of Hardy Oak and ensure a memorable and meaningful year for every child.

I’m excited to join the Hardy Oak family this year as Assistant Principal! It’s an honor to be part of such a welcoming, student-centered school. I’ve heard amazing things about the strong community, school pride, and dedication to kids, and I can’t wait to jump in and be part of it all.
Before this, I was a Targeted Support Teacher and served on the Leadership Team at Wetmore Elementary. I also spent 15 years in the classroom teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 5th grades. I believe that every student deserves support, high expectations, and a love for learning, and Hardy Oak is just the place for that.
Outside of school, I’m a wife (to Brad), mom to two energetic boys (Luke and Matthew), and dog mom to two sweet pups (Millie and Scout). Some of my favorite things include cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
